  • Problem: A giant wall of text just so I can have all my details about me on my website.
  • Solution: I built an AI chatbot, that users can interact with to get their frequently asked questions answered on my website or just try and pick my brain!
  • Result: This project was a essentially opened Pandora’s box for me. I have something on my website that isn’t the generic “send me an email”.
  • Implications: This showcases my ability to not only use but also to use basic AI and a genuine interest in the field.

• Case Study 2: The AI-Powered Resume & Cover Letter Generator

  • Problem: Updating resumes and crafting tailored cover letters used to be a serious time sink. Hunting for the right keywords, reformatting, and rephrasing – it all added up, leaving less time for actual application and building my portfolio.
  • Solution: I built a simple AI app! It takes a job description (either via link or copied in directly), and your current resume as input and generates a revised resume (only in markdown at the moment). It analyzes keywords, highlights relevant skills, and even suggests compelling phrasing to ensure my application pops. After that, I can input any details omitted from my resume that I want to include into my cover letter. Then it will take all three (listing, resume, and extra details) inputs into consideration, and generate a cover letter.
  • Results: The results have been incredible. I’ve cut my application time by roughly 70%, allowing me to apply for many more roles and time for other projects.
  • Implications: This demonstrates my pro-activeness, my ability to create value, and my commitment to delivering impactful application.

  • Problem: AI is inevitable, it’s coming for our jobs, some markets will be able to survive longer without it, but those who utilize it first will have the upper-hand.
  • Solution: Leverage AI to help prevent these small businesses from getting pushed out by large corporations with big pockets.
  • Benefit: Not only do the businesses with this tech win, but also their consumers.
